At the time of admission, you will be given the Polyclinic Guide and the Hospitality Card. There is the possibility of taking your own blood and storing it in the transfusion center of the hospital to be used, if necessary, during surgery. This procedure, called autotransfusion, can prevent and reduce infections or immune reactions. To find out more, it is advisable to talk to the doctor who is following you, a surgeon or anesthetist.
